Quite a bit! In addition to the full menu of events consisting of men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, juniors singles and doubles, and 70+ Scrambles.
Our schedule also includes open play on Friday evening and a free player lunch on Saturday!

The Queen City Open is hosted by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board inside the amazing Cooper Tennis Complex.
All courts feature tennis court surface and state of the art indoor lighting. Perhaps the best benefit is to not have to adjust to the outdoor weather conditions in the middle of June!
Spectators are FREE!
Brackets for Every Player
Over 50 BRACKETS OFFERED!
Brackets are run as Round Robin events for a minimum of 4 games, with several brackets playing 6-7 games depending on the bracket size.
For our 70+ players, we also offer the option to compete in a scramble bracket rather than the traditional doubles bracket.
We also offer juniors brackets (ages 8-15) both for singles and doubles. Junior brackets are only $25 – check schedule for listings!

The Queen City Open is designed for a wide variety of skill levels and ages!
We offered the following skill levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0+.
We offered the following age levels: 12-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Community-Powered Pickleball Progress
Over $110,000 RAISED FOR PICKLEBALL
Largely due to our generous and supportive sponsors, the Queen City Open has raised just over $110,000 over the last 3 years to support local pickleball! The proceeds will go directly to the Springfield-Greene County Park Board to help fund pickleball courts and programs, and to Ozarks Pickleball Club, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, to support even more pickleball events in the future!
Funds have been used in the past to expand the courts at Meador Park from 6 to 12, as well as resurfacing and upgraded lights. Future plans include new restrooms & pavilion, new courts (pad, fencing, lighting, etc), entrance, shaded seating, and additional courts!
